Quickdraw Animation Society would like to invite you to attend our Annual General Meeting.
Please note that you will need to hold a current Quickdraw membership in order to have voting rights, memberships must be renewed 30 days prior to the Annual General Meeting. May 25th, 2012 is the deadline to renew memberships for voting rights. Members unable to attend may vote by proxy (detailed below

Can't attend, but would like to vote?
If you cannot attend the AGM, but would still like to vote, a proxy can vote for you. You need to print and sign the attached proxy form, and have your stand in bring it to the AGM. Both you and your stand in must be active Quickdraw members (for at least 30 days prior to the AGM). Proxy form can be found here.
GIRAF8 Call for Submissions
Deadline: August 1, 2012
GIRAF Animation Festival is looking for Animation submissions, in all styles, genres, lengths, and mediums. Our programs are a strong eclectic mix of animation, representing the best of the medium from Claymation to CG. We focus on presenting independent animations that push boundaries through new techniques, unique visions, and stimulating subject matter. Our 2011 program featured 3 of the 5 Academy Award nominees for Best Short Animation!
We DO NOT CHARGE A SUBMISSION FEE, and encourage short and feature length local, national, international, and student submissions. Animations celebrating their Calgary premiere with GIRAF will be given preference, and accepted filmmakers will be required to provide their film in a high quality digital format.
