Youth Animation Project

YAP - Youth Animation Project: a program for community action through animation
involving 16 participants between the ages of 15-30. For 20 weeks you’ll
work as a team to create animations on issues related to youth, social
action and the environment. Quickdraw Animation’s 2010 program welcomes
all youth, including immigrant youth, Aboriginal youth, street-involved
youth and others who face barriers to employment.
TO APPLY, YOU MUST BE:
- Between the ages of 15 and 30- Experiencing barriers to employment
- Not attending school full-time
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Not in receipt of Employment Insurance
- A good team player and open to tackling issues that
bridge youth, social action and the environment
WHAT YOU GET:
- Full-time minimum wage employment & completion bonus- Experience in animation, video production and editing
- Consultations in career development
