The production facilities at Quickdraw include: Film Animation 'The McInnes Stand'- 16/35mm Mitchell/Portman camera and stand. This camera was previously located in Winnipeg, It was used to shoot “The Cat Came Back” and “The Big Snit” along with many other award winning animated films. 'The Banff Stand' - 16/35mm Oxberry Maters Series camera and stand, This stand has been customized for multi-plane set ups, rotoscope, backlighting, and many other special effects. 'The Baby Ox', a modified 16mm Oxberry Filmmaker Series with video capabilities, used for experimental animation techniques. 16mm Bolex cameras, Super8 cameras and compete editing facilities including a 16/35mm intercine editing bench are available. Darkroom for processing super8, 16mm and 35mm black and white negative films. There is also a collection rare and unusual film equipment such as a 16mm magnetic track recorder, a 16mm violin, optical sound readers, gang syncs, rewinds, splicers, interchangeable lens, filters, cameraless film stock, chemistry and filmatic fun. Digital Animation - Lunchbox sync and -VHS line test systems.
